We create the Google Ads account under our manager account and invite you in as an administrator — that is full access. We ask for the three things Google fixes forever — domain, region and currency — and the Google email the invitation goes to. Billing details are entered by you alone: we have no access to them, and the balance can wait — the campaign will sit still until the money arrives. The account is yours: unlink us at any moment with one click and carry on alone, the ads and the history stay with you. Included in the subscription, opened after payment.
Open ads.google.com and click Start now. Sign in with your Google account or create one.
This is where almost everyone gets stuck. Google pushes you towards creating a campaign with billing — do not agree. At the bottom of the screen, in small print, there is a link Switch to Expert Mode. Click it, then choose Create an account without a campaign.
Then set country, currency and time zone. Currency cannot be changed later — pick the one you actually pay in. Billing details can wait until you are ready to run ads.
Done. The account number, like 123-456-7890, is in the top right corner.
For someone to manage your campaigns, they need access. The invitation arrives by email and sits as a notification in the interface: the bell in the top right corner → Accept.
No email — open Tools and settings → Access and security → Managers: the invitation is waiting there. Access can be revoked at any time the same way.
Yandex.Direct has no such step: access is granted the moment you click Allow on the Yandex page.
Open direct.yandex.com and click Launch ads. Sign in with your Yandex ID or create one.
Set country and currency — currency cannot be changed later here either. When Direct offers the Campaign Wizard, choose Expert mode: leaving the wizard for the normal interface later is awkward.
No need to create a campaign, and billing details can wait.
With a zero balance the ads do not show — there is nothing to charge. The campaign itself can be fully built and running.
Open direct.yandex.com and click Top up in the top right corner. The payment methods depend on the country and currency of your account: card, bank transfer for companies, e-money.
Direct shows the minimum amount itself — it differs by country. Card payments arrive instantly, bank transfers usually on the next working day.
Nothing needs switching on: as soon as the balance is positive, the ads start.
Can I create a Google Ads account without a campaign?
Yes. On the first step of registration there is a link at the bottom, Switch to Expert Mode, and after it Create an account without a campaign. In the default mode Google requires a campaign and billing details right away.
Can the currency of an ad account be changed later?
No. In both Google Ads and Yandex.Direct the currency is set once at creation and never changes. Pick the one you actually pay in.
Do I have to enter billing details immediately?
No. Both Google and Yandex let you open an account without a card — the details are needed before the ads start running.
How do I top up a Yandex.Direct balance?
On direct.yandex.com click Top up in the top right corner and choose a payment method. Card payments arrive instantly, bank transfers usually on the next working day. The ads start automatically.
Can an agency create an ad account for me?
